Schedule, Rosters and FIFO
The Wheatstone Project operates on a 10-hour day (0700 – 1730) with the construction workforce on a 4-weeks-on, 1-week-off roster. Work is scheduled as a 13-day fortnight, with every second Sunday off. Wheatstone’s construction workforce isemployed under a Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) scheme, travelling from Perth Domestic Airport (Terminal 2) to Onslow by Skywest charter. The flight to Onslow takes approximately three hours.
The Project busing service (Greyhound Australia) transports personnel from the airport to project-provided accommodations.
