Wheatstone Scope of Work:
Thiess has been contracted for the Clearing and Site Preparation work at the Wheatstone LNG Project. Thiess’ contract work, commencing in September 2012 and due for completion in mid 2014 includes:
- Clearing
- Stripping and stockpiling of topsoil
- Bulk earthworks
- Stormwater drainage
- Rock slope and storm protection
- Road construction
- Crushed rock pavements
- Site rehabilitation and seeding
- Borrow pit extraction of fill materials
Thiess will be recruiting for the following personnel to complete the works:
- Plant Operators
- General Labourers
- Pipe layers
- Heavy Duty Mechanical Fitters & Mechanics
